A kind of Picasso inspired piece here with two of my brushes actually glued and collaged to the work. As you will notice there is a close up of one of them in the screen shot above.

The majority of this painting was executed during a long studio session with frenetic sweeping brushstrokes, scrapers and paint soaked rags. Although it was one of those stream of consciousness works that happen from time to time, I guess it's really my interpretation of the jazz I was listening to at the time. Just blame Monk, Don Cherry, Herbie Hancock, Wynton and Roy Hargrove...
